Welcome! I’m Dr. Lijo George, and for the past 13 years, I’ve had the incredible privilege of serving as an ordained pastor, shepherding people, building life-giving communities, and helping others grow deeper in their relationship with Christ.
My journey in ministry has always been rooted in a passion for people — seeing lives healed, families restored, and individuals discover the purpose God has placed within them. That passion led me to pursue a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree at Fuller Theological Seminary in California, where I focused on pastoral counseling for mental health within the local church. Over the years, I’ve come to believe that true transformation happens when spiritual growth and emotional healing come together through the power of God.
I’m also the founder of KUROS Bible Courses, a discipleship initiative created to help people of all ages understand Scripture, grow in faith, and walk confidently in their calling.
My educational background has uniquely shaped the way I approach ministry and leadership. Alongside my theological training, I hold a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies from SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary, a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Chicago, and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago. The combination of ministry, science, and leadership has given me a deep appreciation for both practical wisdom and spiritual insight.
Currently, I serve as Pastor at North Church, Oklahoma (Assemblies of God), where I have the joy of leading in areas such as discipleship, adult ministry, church planting, small groups, teaching, preaching, baptism, and family counseling. Every opportunity to serve is deeply meaningful to me because I believe God is still transforming lives every day.
Throughout my ministry journey, God has graciously opened doors for me to minister at conferences and gatherings across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, including ICPF, UPF, PCNAK, and AGIFNA conferences. I’ve also had the privilege of sharing biblical teaching and encouragement through platforms such as Harvest TV and PowerVision. Each opportunity reminds me that ministry is ultimately about serving people and pointing them toward Jesus.
One of my greatest joys is mentoring and raising disciples — especially strengthening families and equipping generations to walk closely with Christ. I am passionate about reaching people from every background, including those searching for hope in seasons of darkness, and helping them encounter Jesus in a personal and transformative way. My heart is to guide people toward clarity in their faith, spiritual healing, and the courage to fully embrace God’s calling for their lives.
I have been blessed with 13 wonderful years of marriage, and my wife and I are grateful to be raising our son together. As a family, we love traveling and sharing the Gospel wherever God leads us.
Jeremiah 1:5 has always deeply inspired me: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” I truly believe every person is uniquely created by God with a divine purpose. My prayer is that through this ministry, people will discover healing, clarity, purpose, and the boldness to fully walk in God’s plan for their lives.
