“Purpose is the reason you Journey. Passion is the fire that lights the way.” Make the most of every day. Embrace God’s gift to you, and renounce the fear and doubt from your life – not only will you renew your faith, but you will also inspire those around you.
Welcome! I’m Pastor Lijo George, and for the past 12 years, I’ve had the joy and privilege of serving as an ordained pastor, dedicated to shepherding people and building life-giving communities.
I’m currently completing my Doctorate of Ministry (D.Min.) at Fuller Theological Seminary, with a focus on pastoral counseling and mental health within congregation — a passion shaped by years of ministry and a deep desire to see people healed and whole in every area of life.
My academic background is diverse, holding a Master’s in Biblical Studies from SUM Theological Seminary, a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago. This unique blend of ministry, science, and leadership training has shaped how I approach both people and purpose.
Presently, I serve as a Pastor at North Church, where I lead initiatives in church planting, discipleship, groups, teaching, preaching, baptism, family counseling,, and pastoral care. Every role I step into is driven by a commitment to see people encounter God, grow in faith, and live with Kingdom purpose.
Throughout my ministry, I’ve been dedicated to teaching, preaching, and mentoring the next generation while helping my church community grow in their faith. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to minister at conferences in the US, UK, and Ireland, including events like ICPF, UPF, PCNAK, AG, and have been featured on Harvest TV and PowerVision.
I have been married for 12 wonderful years, and we have a son. Together, we love traveling together to preach the Gospel. My passion is to bring clarity to those pursuing Christ, guiding them to discover God’s purpose and experience the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. As Jeremiah 1:5 reminds us, we are all uniquely crafted by God with a specific calling. My prayer is that through this ministry, many will find clarity, purpose, and the courage to follow God’s plan for their lives.
